Ok…I must confess that I am a bit of a nerd…and I am also REALLY into health. If you know anything about me, you probably already know that. Just FYI… before I changed my major to education, I was planning to go into nursing.
So, I thought, “I can not possibly have a blog without including some of the various day to day things that I am really into.”
With that in mind, I present to you this Health page. Please keep in mind that I am NOT a doctor or a nutritionist. I’m just a regular person that’s interested in taking care of myself by developing healthier habits.
Here, I would like to share with you information that has helped and inspired me. I am on a c-o-n-t-i-n-u-o-u-s journey of trying to improve my health over time. Now, don’t get me wrong, I have fallen off the wagon MANY times. In fact, I am currently trying to get back on the wagon now. Remember, the name of my Blog IS Daily Improvement.
I don’t know about you, but when my schedule gets off track….everything else tends to go with it.
As you may already be aware, I have had a LOT going on in my personal life here lately. So, as a result, many important things have gone to the wayside quite unintentionally.
Nevertheless, I am determined to find my way back to where I need to be.
With that in mind, I want to share with you a few links and videos that helps me get back on track.
One of my favorite people to listen to and learn from, regarding health, is Dr. John McDougall.
When it comes to eating, I have learned that it is NOT that I eat too much…well, not usually. More often than not, the problem is that I am eating the WRONG FOODS. Whenever I eat the RIGHT FOODS, not only am I am not hungry and I feel more energetic, but, I also lose weight effortlessly. Please watch Dr. John McDougall’s eye opening demonstration of this concept.
The Key To Weight Loss? Understanding Calorie Density
Whenever I consider the foods that I SHOULD be putting in my body, I can not help but consider the fact that fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts, and seeds are obvious. These are foods that rarely disappoint. They also fall right in line with the first diet of man established at the beginning of time and found in Genesis of the Bible. With that in mind, here is an explanation from Dr. John McDougall of an eating lifestyle that he calls The Starch Solution. Note: Because of the audio issues on the first link, you may want to turn on the Closed Captions.

Prayerfully, I am trying to get back on the road again.
So, my journey begins…again…
